The Wondrous Inventions of New Providence

The Corpus Duplicator

Designed by the brilliant Jayaprakash, the Duplicator is an ingenious device that allows the complete reproduction of an entire human body based on a very small tissue sample. Unfortunately, none of the subject’s memories are implanted with the cloning process, and enforced maturation can have dire results on a clone’s mental stability. Its chief use was in preserving the line of the Lady Sophia’s family.

The Memoritorium

A cranial attachment and handheld neurological interface set, this device allows a set of users to share the memories of any individual wearing the attachment. Hypothetically, it would have been a useful companion piece to the Duplicator, but would also be useful in the interrogation of suspected criminals and in education.

The Cross Dimensional Portal Key

The single most advanced device ever created by Jayaprakash, the Portal Key allows a traveler to cross from one alternate universe to another by simply attaching it to an appropriate archway. Due to currently poorly understood principles of reality, an individual from New Providence can travel to another dimension and home again, but is incapable of bring any one or anything back with them, making cross dimensional jaunts more useful as a brief vacation than for any strategic purposes.

The Pocketbook Protector

A handheld galvanic energy device, intended to be capable of only applying a mild shock, it is in fact as powerful as some of the most advanced weaponry currently used by the royal guard.

The Biogear Replacement Limb

A prosthetic intended to replace a maimed or lost extremity, the Biogear Replacement Limb works by directly connecting Galvanic currents to the body’s nervous system, allowing complete, minute control in a manner identical to a natural flesh andblood equivalent.
