Designed by the brilliant Jayaprakash, the Duplicator is an ingenious device that allows the complete reproduction of an entire human body based on a very small tissue sample. Unfortunately, none of the subject’s memories are implanted with the cloning process, and enforced maturation can have dire results on a clone’s mental stability. Its chief use was in preserving the line of the Lady Sophia’s family.

A cranial attachment and hand­held neurological interface set, this device allows a set of users to share the memories of any individual wearing the attachment. Hypothetically, it would have been a useful companion piece to the Duplicator, but would also be useful in the interrogation of suspected criminals and in education.

Due to currently poorly understood principles of reality, an individual from New Providence can travel to another dimension and home again, but is incapable of bring any one or anything back with them, making cross­ dimensional jaunts more useful as a brief vacation than for any strategic purposes.
